Every year we take a family trip to Port Aransas, Texas to relax, unwind, and just have fun. I love thinking about how much this trip has changed over the years, because it started before Mr. BUB and I were dating. When I joined in on the tradition, we were wild college students and spent all night playing on the beach. Now, it's evolved to married couple with a kid and has more of a family environment.
We had a last minute change of housing this year, but every other part of the weekend was a blast. Skeeter loved spending time with her grandparents and soaked up every minute. We saw dolphins, which she promptly declared were "hers" and watched her grandparents parasail.
Of course, we spent a lot of time on the beach, so I left my phone away from the sand and water and have very few pictures. But no weekend with my in-laws would be complete without a ton of food. I swear, the guys in this family enjoy cooking more than anything else in the world.
Skeeter loved watching boats out the living room window from the condo we stayed in. Even better, she could see the airplanes from the small airport on the other side of us. She couldn't have had a better time!
