Happy Monday, ya'll!
We had a wonderfully relaxed weekend. We spent Friday evening hanging out until Skeeter's bedtime. Then momma got to do a little shopping! I had some Christmas money left over so I took the chance to spend it. It's funny how difficult it is to spend the money on me instead of Skeeter these days. But I did have some success.

Saturday, I got to get up and get my hair cut. I won't lie- it's a lot shorter than I anticipated. I did like it when the hairdresser styled it, but I'm a little unsure now. I need to learn how to style it until it gets a little bit longer.
Saturday afternoon, we dropped Skeeter with her Nana & Pops and it was date night! First, we hit the movie theater to see Saving Mr. Banks-- soooo good! Also, this was the second movie I've been to in the past two years. My how life changes. Then, we met some friends at a local wine/tapas restaurant and had a blast.
Sunday, Mr. BUB went hunting so Skeeter and I had a mommy/daughter day and a lot of fun!

Also, I need to brag for a minute. Momma assembled this tricycle. It was a gift from Skeeter's paternal grandparents and she was SO excited to wake up from her nap to see it. And I'm only a little bit proud I did it on my own...but I'll leave the assembly to Mr. BUB next time.
Oh, and if you're feeling a little chilly this week, check out this delicious Peppermint Hot Chocolate recipe I shared on the Houston Moms Blog!
