The Eyes of Texas...

Every year we tailgate right down the road from the Texas capitol.  I toured the capitol back in the 8th grade, but haven't actually walked the grounds since then.  So when Skeeter went to bed Saturday night, and we had grandparents available to keep an eye on her, Mr. BUB and I walked over.  While we couldn't take a tour of the building then, the grounds were open, so we spent some time wandering, reading plaques and peeking in windows.

Quiz time:

How did we end up going to the capitol?

A.  Mr BUB asked me to accompany him and I agreed.
B.  I asked Mr BUB and he couldn't think of a better way to spend the evening.
C.  I asked Mr. BUB and he was terrified that I was still mad at him from earlier in the evening and might follow through with my threat to beat him in his sleep and decided to do whatever he needed to make me happy.

This is actually the back side of the capitol.  But it's still gorgeous!

You can look down into an underground building.

Mr. BUB with an antique cannon.
The answer is C.  But even if he was slightly afraid for his life, we still had a lot of fun!
