Baby Jail

So with Skeeter officially walking, a few changes had to be made around our house.  First, most of the boxes in the house were unpacked immediately.  I wasn't totally sure what she'd be getting into if she opened one.

Second, I had Mr. BUB install a baby gate on her bedroom.  My plan was to let her play in her room and I could get things done around the house without worrying about where she was or what she was doing.  Someday I'll stop making plans and thinking they'll work with a toddler...

She seems to think it's some sort of baby jail.

For the record, her shirt says "I'm a big SPLASH."  Not a big sister.  So we're clear.  No buns in this oven.

Someday she's going to be a teenager and kill me for posting these pictures.

But so this doesn't look like a completely unfair post...

She got revenge and locked me in her room.

I remember when my parents started using a baby gate for the dogs, they gave the same sort of look she did. Its an adorable picture after all, and when she's older you can use it at a party to remind her as she gets to be that age :)

I seriously thought this was a second baby announcement and that her shirt said Big Sister, haha.

Either way, she's adorable -- even when she's crying in baby jail.

When did she get so big!?

I can't believe how big she's gotten.

If she needs a lawyer, I'm on my way!

Jaqs has those PJs, and Rob thought I was making an announcement to him when I first put them on her! Ha! Those things are tricky.

These pictures are hysterical! If there's one thing a toddler hates, it's been contained! ;) She's cute even when she cries!

No mirandizing? That sure sounds like grounds for an appeal. Haha!! I love the first two pictures so much that I insist they be included in whatever future slide-show you make for her high school graduation/wedding. Haha! And she sure looks satisfied as she locked you in!
