This week I'm sharing...

Here's the synopsis:
Dead bodies are showing up in shallow graves on the empty construction lot of Vincent Plum Bail Bonds. No one is sure who the killer is, or why the victims have been offed, but what is clear is that Stephanie’s name is on the killer’s list.

Short on time to find evidence proving the killer’s identity, Stephanie faces further complications when her family and friends decide that it’s time for her to choose between her longtime off-again-on-again boyfriend, Trenton cop Joe Morelli, and the bad boy in her life, security expert Ranger. Stephanie’s mom is encouraging Stephanie to dump them both and choose a former high school football star who’s just returned to town. Stephanie’s sidekick, Lula, is encouraging Stephanie to have a red-hot boudoir “bake-off.” And Grandma Bella, Morelli’s old-world grandmother, is encouraging Stephanie to move to a new state when she puts “the eye” on Stephanie.

With a cold-blooded killer after her, a handful of hot men, and a capture list that includes a dancing bear and a senior citizen vampire, Stephanie’s life looks like it’s about to go up in smoke.

Here are my thoughts:
Meh.  These books are starting to get repetitive.  Stephanie can't decide between Ranger and Morelli.  Granted, that is a really difficult decision... Stephanie has crazies out to kill her.  Lula is wearing spandex.

When I first finished this book, I decided I was done with this series...but then I realized there are only two books left in it, so maybe I will finish it?  I don't know...we'll see.

What are you currently reading??

My friend read all these books and she loves them. I tried to get into them and I wanted nothing to do with them and they are set in Jersey! T each their own right? Glad you enjoyed it!

I read the first hree of the series and really struggled with getting theough the third one. A little too repetitive, I guess.
Thanks for your review! Have a great weekend!

There might only be two left now, but Janet is still writing them!! I stopped at 15 because I couldn't find them for cheap, so after almost a year break I think I'm ready to read the rest and maybe I won't find them so predictable!

I love them but find that if I leave enough time to pass between books I don't get bored with them.

It's a tough choice but I would go with Morelli

I literally just started book 1! After months of me telling you I was! Lol!!!

If there are only two left, then I guess the love triangle will have to end soon! I'm definitely of the opinion that 19 books in one series is way too many.

i have been thinking about reading these (i saw the movie version of "one for the money" and enjoyed it).

it does get annoying though when each book starts seeming like the others.

I still love the series, but they definitely are repetitive. It's the same thing in every book but with different bad guys. Either way I still find the books pretty funny, and don't mind the repetitiveness.

Mostly I'm pissed to hear that she STILL hasn't picked one of them! How will I know who I'm getting as sloppy seconds if she doesn't just freaking pick one?! LOL
On a serious note, I haven't read one in over two months because I've been trying to branching out. That and I'll always have a back up with this series if I don't know what to read. I plan on finishing the series (right now) but not sure how fast. I can't deny that there's a certain comfortable entertainment about them, as the characters have become so familiar to me. Thanks (again!) for introducing me to the series Heather!

I read I think the first 4 books and then seriously needed a break from them, lately I've been feeling the itch to read them again so maybe I will go back to the series :)

I have never read the Stephanie Plum series, but I did see the unfortunate film adaptation of 1 for the money with Katherine Heigel, and it made me want to read the books to see if they are any better. I hate when a series goes too long and just seems to be the same conflicts over and over. I felt that way about the Sookie Stackhouse (true blood) series, and the Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter series, which is at 20 books now or something ridiculous. Thanks for sharing your review, hope you can just power through the last two books and finish the series out right!

Only 2 books left, eh maybe I'll finish then. I stopped reading also because of the repetitiveness.
