I have a college degree.
I've held jobs that required a functioning brain.
I still do, in fact.
Yet, here I am wondering if I turned my flat iron off.
Or whether I shut the nursery door to keep the dogs out before leaving the house.
Or- worse- whether I put soap in the washing machine.
I don't know if this is a typical mom thing.
Or if it's related to being a working mom.
Or if it's the lack of sleep.
But I'm sure I'm not alone...
So, dish!
What's your favorite Mom Brain story?!

It is totally a mom thing! I have to unplug my flat iron and put it on the back of the toilet. If I don't I will go home three times to check it. No lie.
I love that quote. I currently am wearing plaid flannel pj pants and if this were a non-working day I would be putting on my yoga pants. HA!
Hugs!

I am always worried about things like these! The worst one lately was I was worried I forgot to put a kid on my cast list and I realized it a week after the cast list went up! Luckily he was on it.... lol
Aww :( I can't imagine - I already worry about all those things, haha.
I hope you're okay! You've been MIA on social media lately. Makes me sad!

It happens to the best of us ;)
Definitely happens to me! I swear at least once I week, I'll leave the house for work (with Luke in the backseat), pull out of the alley and wonder if I closed the alley. So I basically go around the block to pull back in the alley and check if my garage door is down. LITERALLY every single time it has been closed...but the fact that I can't remember doing it drives me insane!
you already know my story from yesterday but TODAY i drove all the way to my mom's house without the diaper bag. baby had no food, no diapers, no bottles. had to go to target and back to grandmas... two hours late for work. holla.
omg I had mom brain even before I was a mom so it's only worse now! haha I'm constantly wondering about things like leaving the my flat iron on or whether I missed our indoor cat sneaking when I let out the dogs because then she'd be stuck outside all day. The other day I even left the fridge wide open and didn't notice for a while. I don't think I've ever done that in my life. haha. Damn lack of sleep!
I once went to the store with my oldest daughter & climbed out of the car to get the baby out of her carseat & she wasn't there! I went into panic mode when my oldest reminded me i left her home with dad! And it's the same stories like this every day:)
