Weekend Wedding Recap

We spent the weekend in Austin for my sister in law's wedding.  I wish I had gotten more pictures of the ceremony decor (which was gorgeous!) but I do want to share the pictures I did get...

The weekend started with the rehearsal & dinner at Perry's Steakhouse.

Chocolate truffle (I die.), Creme Brule, and Pecan Cheesecake
Someone put me on a treadmill stat.

The wedding reception was at The Driskell Hotel in Austin.
The rooms were spectacular, the service was awesome and of course family was wonderful.

Skeeter cuddled with Daddy to watch some football.

Our room overlooked Austin's famous Sixth Street.
I made it very clear to Skeeter this is the only time she'll ever be at Sixth Street.
And she definitely will not get her belly button pierced at a shady tattoo parlor in college like her momma...

Speaking of college, we drove past my old campus and saw my dorm.

And it was wedding time!

Unfortunately, this is the only picture I got of the gorgeous bride.
We were nearing Skeeter's bedtime, so she and I hung out outside during the ceremony.

Back at The Driskell, we couldn't resist taking Skeeter's picture in a chair made for her!

How was your weekend?
