You can write about any book you want.

This week I'm sharing...

Here's the synopsis:
Is there really such thing as a lucky charm? The hero of Nicholas Sparks's new novel believes he's found one in the form of a photograph of a smiling woman he's never met, but who he comes to believe holds the key to his destiny. The chain of events that leads to him possessing the photograph and finding the woman pictured in it is the stuff of love stories only a master such as Sparks can write.

Here are my thoughts:
Okay, you're probably going to judge me for what I'm about to say, but here it is...After watching the Notebook (and sobbing uncontrollably), I wrote off Nicholas Sparks.  Then, I got roped into watching The Last Song.  And I bawled again.  And once again, I decided I was done with him.

Then here comes the previews for The Lucky One.  And there's Zac Efron, and I'm all "Is he old enough to walk around with those blue eyes and that hot facial scruff?!"  (A google search revealed that he is, in fact, old enough.)  The next thing I know, the book is on my to-read list.  And I read it.  And I didn't cry.

I freaking loved it.

...and I might have a Zac Efron crush now.  Stay tuned.

What are you currently reading?

I just read this book myself this week. I also enjoyed it, but think that N.S. will never reach The Notebook or The Wedding level again so I am always just a tad let down! Have a fabulous Friday!

I wrote off Nicholas Sparks, too. And Zac Effron is HOT!!!!!! And I say that fully knowing that I feel like I'm robbing the cradle, but knowing he's old enough to be legal haha

I haven't read this NS book. The concept always seemed silly to me that he saw a a picture and found his love. But maybe it isn't horrible! Lol

I for the life of me can not make myself be a fan of Mr. Sparks. Though I do love "A Walk To Remember", the movie.

It's the same idea over and over. But I'm glad that so many other people like his books!

I just finished reading four of his books! Yeah, I went on a Nicholas Sparks reading spree.

I had actually tried starting this book a few times, but I always had problems getting past the first chapter. But then I saw movie previews...and I made myself get past that first chapter...LOVED the book.

I have this one on my Kindle and I go back and forth with it. I know I will finish it, but it might take a bit.

I have this sitting on my bookshelf to read next! When i saw the movie, I told the hubs, I'm not sure what I think of Zac Efron not in High School Musical. Then, about halfway through I leaned over and told him...I like not High School Musical Zac Efron SO MUCH BETTER! Haha!
