I originally intended to post part 2 of my Never Ever series today, but a lot has happened this week that I'd like to share...If you follow on Twitter, you're already somewhat up to date on the news.
Monday morning I went in for a routine baby check up. While we were there, I had some protein show up in my urine. That, paired with my high blood pressure of late, caused the doctor to send me to the hospital for a 24 hour hospitalization.
Before the 24 hours were up, I was informed that I am here for the long haul. Over the past few days, I've learned that she'll likely be delivered within the next 2 weeks. We are taking it day by day, but the best case scenario is for her to stay until I'm 34 weeks.
So far, I've met with a high risk doctor and a neonatologist and I have to say I'm glad to be in such great hands. I am confident that both Skeeter and I will be just fine through all of this.
I am so grateful for Mr. BUB who has been happy to deliver my list of items I need each day. We obviously didn't plan for this, so I did not have a bag packed ahead of time.
Overall, I'm doing good! I feel just fine (no pain or discomfort) and the boredom that I battled the first day has subsided. I appreciate all of your kind words and prayers so much!

So, I know you and I talked on twitter, but your story reminded me about what my mom said. She had a very similar situation (going for a check-up, chilling at the hospital, told she was going to stay for the long haul). She had to call my dad before she went to the hospital for observation because they hadn't even bought a crib yet! I think they ended up sending my grandparents on the search.

This is so scary! I have no idea how I would have been able to handle this but you are being SO positive. I admire you so much. PLEASE let me know if Katie and I can bring you some things for yourself or little Skeeter that you will need at the hospital. Don't be overwhelmed about not having a bag packed - I didn't use about 90% of the stuff I brought to the hospital. You will be okay!! I am constantly thinking about you.
Thinking of your, your family and little girl. I know it sucks right now (it's amazing how positive you are) but if its the best for you and the baby then it shall be. You'll be holding your beautiful baby in no time!
