True Life: I like food, y'all.

Hi, my name is Heather and I like food.
Not all food.  Crawfish freak me out.
And don't even try to get me to eat oysters.

But I really like to cook.
You can see recipes I've tried (or made up) here.
I also love the Pioneer Woman & love to try recipes from her cook book.
One of my life goals is to move out to her ranch, marry Cowboy Josh & eat her food.
Don't tell Mr. BUB that, please.

My hubby, AKA Mr. BUB, participates in cook offs.
His team's brisket won 3rd place at the last one.
I actually hold a title on the team: Sangria Taster.

I made these last night.

We're doing a lot of cooking this weekend, so check back for more pics next week!

Excited to check out your recipes! Crawfish creep me the eff out too! And so does lamb. And veal. And oysters. Other than that, I'll eat anything.

I can't cook for the life of me, but I envy girls that can. I stalk their recipes and pretend to think that I could make them ;)

I am learning how to cook and have always followed The Pioneer Woman on Twitter and her blog.. Now that I live in the middle of nowhere with my boyfriend on a ranch, I have to learn to cook. I just ordered her cookbook and CAN'T wait to try some recipes out. I need to watch her two last episodes off her show on Food Network. Hope you had a great weekend!
