Margarita Popsicles

So when I saw this fabulous picture on The Pioneer Woman's blog (where else?), I knew I had to try it!  I know I already shared the picture with you on pinterest (and on the blog a couple times) but they're definitely worth the attention.

Here's what you need:
A couple notes:  I actually used 5 bottles of Mike's Hard Margarita for a total of 9 popsicles.  Also, they were out of strawberry at the store, so I made raspberry.

And, shout out to Mr. BUB for being manly enough to walk through a crowded grocery store carrying Mike's Hard Lemonade.  And for calling me and listing every flavor they had, so I could choose the best one.  The questionable looks you received from the guys purchasing Bud Light were looks of admiration, not judgment.

Pour the lemonade into the Dixie cups and freeze for 2 hours, before inserting popsicle sticks.

Or, if you're a redneck, you could use plastic spoons instead of popsicle sticks...
Not that we did that.
But, I'm just saying that you could...
Okay, the grocery store was out of popsicle sticks!
We had no choice.

Freeze for at least 2 more hours.

Mine were still a little soft after the total freeze time.  And we put sugar on it, to combat the raspberry tartness.  But they were delicious.

Find the original recipe here.

Have you entered my giveaway?!

Why do you tease a pregnant woman like this? Will you make me a virgin one? And LOL at the "redneck" plastic spoons.

Yum. And you really have a catch if he'll head to the store to get those for you. I have to beg on my knees to get my BF to go to the store or even stop on the way home! :)
