Cuz I'm Raising the Bar

So those of you that follow me on Twitter may have noticed this...
But I was kinda cranky yesterday.
Just a little bit.
Okay, a lot of bit.

It didn't get much better once I got home.
I laid down and announced that I didn't want to go to the gym.
It prompted the following conversation:

Husband:  Well, you shouldn't go then.  You're not feeling well.
Me:  Well, I have to!  You let me drink REAL Coke at lunch.  Do you know how many calories that is?!
Husband (laughing): I let you?  I wasn't aware I was supposed to be watching that.
Me:  Yes.  Obviously.
Husband:  Well I'm sorry.  You should go to the gym then.
Me: UGHHHHHHHHHH.....I don't wanna!!

I may have stomped my feet then too.

I got up, drug my butt to the gym, and worked about for approx. 5 minutes before wanting to quit.
That's when a wonderful song came on my iPod.
Thank you to Neely for suggesting "It's Tricky" for workouts.

The end of my workout got difficult again, and I owe a huge thank you to Eminem for pulling me through.  I'm currently writing an official thank you note to him.

Umm...I may also have stuck it out so I could have a glass of sangria with dinner.
If we're being honest here...
And it was delicious.
I'll also write a note to Carlo Rossi.

I'm always moody...always. Nathan calls me a rattlesnake because I'm so snappy. Oh well.

Just remember that it's tricky to both rock a rhyme and to rock it right on time...

We all have our days! Eminem is what gets me through my workouts!

Haha! Sounds like a conversation I would likely have with Greg. And I commend you for drinking sangria after the workout :)

Sadly, booze is one of my biggest motivators for working out. Gotta burn off those empty calories!

Bahahaha. I think Eminem would truly appreciate your thank you note. For sure. Loved that.

I've gotta get a freakin' iPod. Maybe I'll work out more.

I love this. Totally a convo I'd have, and the feet stomping? Oh yeah, it happens. I love this :)

I seriously cannot work out without blasting some upbeat music on my iPod.

Proud of you for sticking through it. :)

I've been there. I swear that I've had that same conversation with my husband. You can just take out 'Coke at lunch' and add in 'donut at breakfast.' I usually just say out loud that I don't want to, so he will support my awful idea. haha. I'm glad you made it through; you are much better at that than I! Eminem? That's it! Get angry at the workout! haha.
