Jamaican Vacation: Part 2

We actually did the Tranopy Tour on Thursday, but since I don't have the other pictures yet, I'm posting backwards.

We were picked up by our cab driver at our resort for this tour. I was obviously already pretty shaken up from my most recent driving experiences in Jamaica. Then we get into the van to see at least 20 air fresheners hanging around his fan. And he informed us his name was Bob Marley. So, obviously, he was totally legit. What's funny is he turned out to be the best driver we had all week. Well, except for the parts where he made cat calls at the women walking down the street. But, I digress.

The Tranopy Tour takes place in three parts...

Part #1: The Chair Lift
We rode a chair lift to the top of the mountain. You should probably keep in mind throughout this entire post that the hubby is terrified of heights.

Part #2: The Bobsled Roller Coaster

We then rode the bobsled through the rainforest. I rode in front, so I got to control the speed. Which means, the husband yelled "Slow down! Watch the signs!" the entire time. It was a lot like when I drive at home. ;)

Part #3: The Zip Line
We then rode zip lines through the canopy. This part was awesome. Or, if you ask the hubby, it sucked. But once again, he hates heights.

We actually jumped off of this platform to the bridge below. I screamed the whole way down.

That is the platform we jumped off of. You can see how far it was in this picture.

After all of that was done, we took another chair lift ride to the bottom of the mountain, where the hubby kissed the ground and informed me he'll never do anything like that again.

Here are a few pictures I took at the bottom, while we were waiting for Bob Marley to pick us back up.

I want to go on that rollercoaster! How fun does that look!?! I have no idea how you knew the motto for Deer Park, but I am still laughing at the fact that you did :) Too funny!

You 2 sound like me & Nate. I'm the adventurous one. Down to do anything, this looks like a blast to me, and he's terrified of heights and everything, and he would refuse to do this. Ahhh. Looks AWESOME to me! :)
