These Are My Confessions...

Just when I thought I said all I could say, my chick on the side says she got one on the way...

I love Usher. But that's not really my confession.

This is it...

Part One
I didn't save the top layer of my wedding cake. Well, technically, I didn't have a top layer. But I didn't save any of it.

Now before you get the pitchforks and storm the castle, I have a reason. A good one, in fact.

Ready for it?

I think year-old cake sounds disgusting. There. I said it.

Part Two
I still haven't had my wedding dress preserved.

It's still in a closet. I don't feel super bad about this though, because one of my friends is going on 5 years.

I do intend to do it though.

Okay, I feel better now.

Don't feel bad about #1. I had a friend who did save hers, and on their 1yr anniversary, they had it, and she said it was disgusting. She said it was very rubbery and tasted like a balloon, HA! So, apparently, you're not missing out! ;)

We did have a top layer and it lasted less than a week in our freezer after we returned from the honeymoon. I knew wouldn't last with how much Anthony eats lol. Plus we think it is gross to eat year old frozen cake too. And, my dress is in my closet too. So looks like we have similar confessions ;)

No cake was saved as mosquitos from the light above the cake fell into the top. (I scraped them off and served the cake the next day to people who stopped by our house).

I am going on eight years, my dress is in the garment bag (not even on a hanger)...dirty from dragging it around. My niece borrowed it for some Twilight party...I think there is fake blood on it!

Those are my confessions...

However, a dress and cake do not make a marriage. My marriage is what I have saved and preserved!
