Jamaican Vacation: Part 1

I decided to break this post up into a couple sections, due to the gazillion pictures I have to share.

We left our house at 3 a.m. Monday. Our flight left at 7 a.m., we had a quick layover in Atlanta, then landed in Montego Bay at 1 p.m. We were welcomed to a relaxing lounge for Sandals guests before boarding what would turn out to be the scariest bus ride of my life.

Now, you're probably thinking to yourself, "Oh, I've been to Mexico, drivers there are crazy." You are wrong. I thought that once too. We're talking this guy was passing people in a tour bus, on blind curves! He rode in the wrong lane until he was just about to hit someone, then swerve back to the correct lane.

We finally arrive in Ocho Rios Jamaica at 5 p.m. Upon my insistence, we immediately hit up a restaurant called the Reef Terrace for delicious steak, seafood eggplant mousaka, and white chocolate bread pudding.

We hit the hay pretty early and woke up to this:

After laying out on the beach for a while, we set off to climb the Dunn's River Falls. It was a blast. I took those pictures on a water camera, which hasn't been developed yet, so I'll share that later.

While on the tour we met a couple from Canada. He invited the hubby to play a game a beach volleyball. His girlfriend and I sat in lounge chairs and watched, what eventually turned into about 10 games. The guys then cooled off in the water.

We retired to our room and found towel animal #1...

Any guesses what it is?

Alright, that's all for the first post. My next one, the Tranopy Tour, will probably equal the length of a novel...

That does sound scary, ugh. But the rest of it sounds relaxing! I'm gonna go with some sort of boar, (pig) type of thing on that animal. which is weird, haha.
